Ellis Oliver Jones, age 88, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Foxdale Village in State College. He was born on January 19, 1928 in Pontiac, MI, the son of Ellis Oliver and Sybil Ellen Ray Jones. He is survived by Charles E. Jones, State College, Bernard Ray Jones, San Francisco, Ellis Oliver Jones, Newburyport, MA, and Walter Richard Miles Jones, Winston Salem NC.
He had served as a diplomat with the United States Government.
