Ellen Ruth Shirk, 63 of Tyrone, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021. She was born November 14, 1957, in Tyrone, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Martha (Kliem) Shirk. She is survived by a son Matthew Shirk, a sister Della Harris, and a brother in law Albert Harris.

Ellen was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School. She liked TV, listening to music and working on puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and her cat Piere.

Interment will be made at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Funeral Services are at the convenience of the family. Contributions in her memory may be made to Purrfect Paws and Pals of Tyrone, 1003 Jefferson Ave. Tyrone, PA 16686. Checks may be made out to the treasurer, Patricia Griffith.
