Ella J. Longenecker, 86, of Tyrone died Wednesday February 17, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born September 15, 1934 in Philipsburg, a daughter of Wasco and Anna (Semetkosky) Lashinsky. On September 18, 1954 at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Janesville she married Donald E. Longenecker. He died August 19, 2004.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Doreen Longenecker of Tyrone, Donna Campbell and husband Kevin of York, grandchildren; Matthew, Rachel and Noah Campbell and a sister Marie Lidgett of Smithmill. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters; Katherine Barno, Evelyn Novak, Ann Rishtscheit, Helen Tutokey and Martha Tanish and 4 brothers; Paul, Frank, Jack and Andrew Lashinsky.

Mrs. Longenecker was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Janesville. She had worked in the cafeteria at Tyrone Area High School.

Ella enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Ramey.
