Edward J. Laird, aged 58, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, in his hometown of Tyrone. He was born on August 19, 1964, in Tyrone, to the late Isaac and Dorothy (Fink) Laird.

Edward is survived by his beloved fiancée, Michelle Dixon, as well as his children, Heather Camp (Gerald) and Edward Jr. (Cathy), and stepson Josh Dixon. He also leaves behind 5 grandsons, Gabe, Wyatt, Nathan, Logan, and Colton and 1 granddaughter, Temperance. Edward was a loving brother to Wanda Hamer (Dale) and David L Laird Sr (Joyce). He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith L. Laird.

Edward graduated from William Penn High School in Delaware. He worked in maintenance at Rodel in Delaware, then as a mechanic, specializing in trucks for Voss in Missouri. Edward had a passion for motorcycles, was a dedicated fan of the Steelers, and found immense joy in spending time with his cherished grandchildren.

A private service will be held to honor Edward's memory, respecting the wishes of his family.
