Edna C. Sherry, 88, of Bald Eagle died Thursday November 17, 2016 at Epworth Manor Personal Care.

She was born January 10, 1928 in Tyrone a daughter of Charles and Deliah (Hosband) Kirkpatrick. On May 26, 1947 in Cumberland, Maryland she married Paul A. Sherry. He died June 17, 2015.

Surviving are a daughter Cathy J. Bonsell and husband Donnie of Bald Eagle, three sons Thomas L. and wife Judy, David P. and wife Kathy and Stephen B. and wife April all of Bald Eagle, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and a sister Delma Parks of Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters.

She was an involved member of the Tyrone Alliance Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher and Deaconess. She was member of the New Creations Gospel Group. She enjoyed playing the piano and bass guitar.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 21, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Tyrone Alliance Church with Rev. Carl Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home.
