Earl B. McKinney Jr., 72, of Tyrone died Thursday May 4, 2017 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born August 20, 1944 in Warriors Mark, a son of Earl B. Sr. and Mae (Meek) McKinney. On February 15, 1964 at the Christ United Methodist Church, Tyrone he married Pauline Light.

Surviving are his wife, 3 daughters, Patricia Williams and fiancée Robert Gensimore of Bellwood, Kelly Freet and fiancée Joseph Brumbaugh of Altoona, Linda Branstetter and husband Erin of Warriors Mark, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers Charles and wife Susie of Pallisade, Nebraska and John and wife Marsha of Karns City.

Mr. McKinney retired in 2007 from Bulkmatic Transport, Williamsport as a truck driver following 25 years service. He was a member of the Tyrone Sportsman Club.

Earl was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed wildlife photography and walking in the woods. He loved his family, wife and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 8, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Sue Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
