Donna Jean Thomas, 83, of Tyrone, passed away February 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Williamsburg to the late Jesse B. and Ellen K. (Wicker) Banks. On December 8, 1972 she married John R. Thomas, who preceded her in death.

She leaves behind her children, Dodie Serafini, Douglas (Shanna), Gary Joe Gordon, Brenda (Harry) Waite; step-children, Deborah Green, John R. Jr.; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Donna loved to share her creativity with others and had a knack for interior design, and landscaping. She loved her home and her large loving family most.

Friends and family will be received at Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone, on Monday March 3, 2025 from 11-12 with a funeral service to follow, officiating will be Pastor Ron Baker. Burial will be held at a later date at Logan Valley Cemetery.
