Donna Jean Romano, 88 of Tyrone, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday,

October 3, 2025. She was born in Altoona, on January 15, 1937, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Hallman) Stefano. On September 8, 1956 at St. Matthew Catholic Church she married Leonard Peter Romano Sr. who preceded her in death on November 22, 2023. She is survived by her three children: Luann Romano (Thomas) Pagianite, Mary Romano (James) Domenick, and Leonard P. Romano Jr; seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Donna was a 1955 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at Epworth Manor. She was a lifetime member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She loved reading, search-a-word puzzles, her TV shows, and yard work. She always helped everyone. Her life was her husband and her family

An 11 am Mass of Christian Burial for Donna Jean Romano will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Father Michael Pleva officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10 am until the time of Mass. Interment will be made at Oak Grove Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1105 Cameron Ave Tyrone, PA 16686.
