Donna K. (Potts) (Himes) Hammel, 66 of Bellwood, died Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born on August 5, 1955, in Tyrone, the daughter of the late John R. and Mary (Wiser) Potts. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Himes and on May 4, 2021, she married Kenneth A. Hammel who survives. Also surviving is her brother: Charles "Chug" (Barbara) Potts; five sister-in-laws: Sandra, Darlene, Laquita, Anna, and Connie Potts; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Ann and Misty Owens. She was preceded in death by one sister: Linda Freed; and six brothers: Thomas, William, Glenn, Gerald, Bob, and Paul Potts.

Donna was a graduate of Bellwood Antis High School as well as the Altoona School of Cosmetology. She retired as beautician, cutting hair for many years at her shop, Highlights Beauty Salon.

She attended Hillside Community Church in Bellwood. She enjoyed music and liked to refer to herself as a Ronnie McDowell Groupie. She also enjoyed horse racing.
