Donald Bressler, age 65, of Tyrone died Monday, July 31, 2017. He was born November 10, 1951 in Philipsburg, the son of Charles A. and Elizabeth Black Bressler. On May 21, 1977 at the First English Lutheran Church he was married to Darlene Beckwith who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Nikki Wisniewski, D.O. (Marc) and Missy Heffner (Jason) and one grandson, Oliver E. Heffner, two brothers - G. Charles (Deborah) Bressler and Brian L. Bressler, two nephews, Chuck and Ryan Bressler and his mother-in-law Frances M. Beckwith. He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Scott Bressler.

Donald attended the Tipton Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School Class of 1969 and served in the U.S. Navy. He was the co-owner of Bresslers Plumbing and Heating Inc. He was a member of the Tyrone American Legion, an Eagle Scout, a former wrestler and had been a trumpet player in the TAHS band. Donald loved hunting, enjoyed traveling and visits to Ocean City, and trips to Montana and Colorado. He liked doing woodworking and carpentry and loved football and hockey.

Private services are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.

He will be dearly missed by all his family and all those who knew him.
