DeSales "Dee"Hildebrand, 90, formerly of Tyrone returned to the Lord peacefully on Wednesday February 12 2014 at Vincentian Home, Pittsburgh.

She was born September 3, 1923 in Houtzdale, a daughter of Gustav and Christine (Markovich) Gustavson. On March 2, 1946 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Houtzdale she married Charles R. Hildebrand. He died October 21, 2004.

Survived by children Kathleen D. Jeffcoat of Baton Rouge and Richard C. Hildebrand and wife Donna of Wexford;, grandchildren Will and Kristine Jeffcoat, Richard Jr., Joshua, Molly Hildebrand, and four great grandchildren Eliena, Serafina, Adelle and Nathalie.

Dee grew up in Houtzdale and moved to Tyrone after marriage where she lived and worked most of her adult life. She was a long time School secretary for Tyrone Area School District,

She was an extremely kind lady and a great mother/grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. Five years ago Dee moved to Vincentian Nursing Home in Pittsburgh to be near her son and was loved by all who cared for her. In her early life she and her sister Doris worked in a dance studio as instructors. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and painting.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 15, 2014 at 1 P.M. at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Fr. Jozef Kovacik celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Home on Friday from 6 to 8 P.M.
