Dennis Michael "Mike" Hoover of Sinking Valley died Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Born on February 4, 1964, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Margaret (Hustak) Hoover.

On April 3, 1971, he married Carol M. Hileman, who survives.

Also surviving are sons: Scott (Sharon) Hoover, Eric (Kristen) Hoover, Shawn Hoover; daughter: Heather (Scott) Weaver; grandchildren: Blaine Hoover, Brody Hoover, Sarah (Caleb) Orr, and Seth Hoover; a great-granddaughter: Adalyn Orr; and brothers: Charles and Brian (Barbara) Hoover.

Mike was a 1964 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and a lifelong farmer, beginning with poultry farming and transitioning to dairy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Sinking Valley.
