Darlene May Price, 74, passed away peacefully Friday, August 4th 2017 at her home in Port Matilda with her family by her side.

She was born April 11, 1943 in Port Matilda, a daughter of James and Mary Ellen (Sprankle) Goss. On March 2, 1963 in Port Matilda she married Fay D. Price.

Surviving are her loving husband husband of 54 years, two daughters, Paula Wheland and husband Terry of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Darla Shank and husband Jeff of Middletown, two sons, Darrell and wife Lee Ann of Port Matilda, Joseph and wife Kristin of Port Matilda, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four sisters, Helen Gates and husband Walter of Port Matilda, Nancy Replogle and husband Dale of Tyrone, Betty Fye of Port Matilda, and Gloria "Dawn" Sigel and husband Jake of Port Matilda and three brothers James Goss and wife Linda, Ed Goss and wife Kathy and John Goss and wife Sharon all of Port Matilda.

Mrs. Price had been a secretary for Ferguson Twp. Police Department for 15 years. She was a graduate of Tyrone High School.

Darlene had many hobbies including crocheting, knitting and making afghan blankets. She also loved to travel and her favorite place was Top Sail Island Beach in NC. Darlene had an unwavering faith in GOD. She was a life long member of Hannah United Methodist Church. Darlene spent countless hours reading her bible and sought refugee during her darkest hours through her faith.

Friends will be received on Sunday at Feller Memorial Home from 1 P.M. until the funeral services at 3 P.M. with Pastor Sam Reese officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
