Darlene J. Brenneman, 71, of Sinking Valley died Friday May 29, 2020 at her residence.

She was born May 18, 1949 in Sinking Valley, a daughter of Revere and Lola Smith. She was twice married first to Harold Lewis who preceded her in death in August 2007. She then married Harold E. Brenneman on July 23, 2016 in Sinking Valley.

Surviving are her husband, a son Mark H. Lewis and wife Amber of Hollidaysburg, a daughter Charlene Detwiler on Sinking Valley, four grandchildren; Danica Lewis, Veronica Detwiler, Brooke and Ben Lewis and a great-granddaughter Kaleigha R. Lewis at home,

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church a lifetime member of the Quarterhorse Association.

She had operated Lewis's Quarterhorses, Sinking Valley for many years. She was a 1968 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.

Darlene enjoyed crafts, photography and spending time with her grandchildren.
