Danny R. Adams, 67, New Castle, formerly of Tyrone and Altoona, died Sunday at The Grove at New Castle.

He was the son of the late Raymond L. and Eleanor (Schnellbach) Adams.

Surviving are many friends who cared for him.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Adams.

Danny was a 1969 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.

He was a member of Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren, Altoona, where he was an altar boy for some time. He was also a volunteer at the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, and when he wasn't helping out there, he enjoyed spending time with and taking care of his own cat.

Friends will be received from noon until the 1 p.m. memorial service, Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren, Altoona, Pastor Janet Sell officiating. Arrangements are by Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone.
