Daniel M. Heaton, 70 of Graystone Manor, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born December 4, 1951 at Mercy Hospital Altoona to Kenneth R. and Ruth L. (Spacht) Heaton.

Surviving are his mother Ruth Heaton of Tyrone; three sisters: Kathy (David) Sherry of Bald Eagle, Barbara Bumbarger of Huntingdon, and Sandra (Stephen) Dunn of Bellwood; three daughters: Jennifer, Stephanie, and Lindsey; a son: Danny II; and numerous grandchildren.

He graduated from TAHS in 1969. He was active in the school bands, Howard Gardner Drum & Bugle Corp, the former Citizens Fire Co. and the Ohio Legion Motorcycle Club.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in telecommunication on the U.S. Intrepid during the Vietnam War. After his Navy discharge he secured a job with Allied Telephone and traveled over southern states installing new phone lines until his promotion to manager of the Georgia office.

Family and friends may be received at Tyrone Alliance Church on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 10 am until the 11 am service with Pastor Carl Schmidt officiating. Inurnment will be made in Grandview Cemetery Tyrone.
