Dana Daugherty, 62, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Danville, PA surrounded by loved ones. Dana was born on August 20, 1963 in Norristown, PA, to Clarence Russell and Anna Hunsicker.She graduated from Tyrone Area High School in 1981 and went on to earn a Nurse Aide certificate. She worked in healthcare for many years.Dana was married to Bruce Daugherty Sr. The couple had 5 children: Bruce Daugherty Jr, Matthew Daugherty (Sheila), Christina Wiser (Chris), Jessica Daugherty, and David Daugherty.

Dana was best known for her love for her dogs and cats throughout her lifetime. She had a special dog named Tucker. She adored and spoiled her grandchildren (Lexie, Emmalyn, Violet, Declan, Ezra, Parker, Madelyn, Myra, Finley, Brayden, and Briliee).

She also became quite fond of keeping and raising her chickens. Dana is survived by her children and grandchildren. Dana is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a special Aunt, Phyllis Walk.

A 2 pm funeral service for Dana Daugherty will be held on February 2, 2026 at The Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. Friends will be received from noon until the 2 pm funeral service. Memorial donations can be made in Dana's name to the Central PA Humane Society.
