Dana R. Brown, 69, of Altoona died Tuesday November 1, 2016 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.

He was born May 22, 1947 in Altoona, a son of Joseph and Evelyn Brown. On July 16, 2001 in Winchester, Virginia he married Bonita "Bonnie" McNeal. She died September 3, 2010.

Surviving are two sons, Brian and Dana Jr. both of Altoona, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, four stepchildren, eight step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey and a granddaughter Katie Lynn.

Mr. Brown had been a truck driver for many years for JLine and Sky Brothers.

He was a member of the VFW Juniata and the Shooting Club, Bellwood.

He enjoyed his family and loved fishing. He was a people person and liked to talk to everyone and was a friend to all.

Friends will be received on Friday November 4, 2016 at the Feller Memorial Home from 6 P.M. until the funeral service at 7 P.M. with Pastor Kathy Colebank officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
