Craig A. Rickards, age 61, of Tyrone died Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Village at Penn State. He was born August 3, 1954 in Chester, PA, the son of Harry W. and Kathryne Jaworsky Rickards Jr. On June 4, 1983 he was married at the First English Lutheran Church, Tyrone to Susan Mogle who survives. Also surviving is his father Harry W. Rickards Jr., wilmington, DE, and threee children, Terry Robert, Nashville, TN, Tyler Alan, Baltimore, MD and Lindsey Elizabeth (Nathan) Barber, Knoxville, TN and a sister Cheryl Rickards, Newark, DE and brother Steven Rickards, San Francisco, CA. Also surviving is a niece Rhonda Perry, Newark, DE and a granddaughter Eliza Jane Kathryne Barber.

Craig was a graduate of Tyrone High School Class of 1972 and a graduate of Penn State University in 1976 and was employed as a real estate manager for Penn State University. He had served on the Property Steering Committee of Penn State and was the Chairman of Business and Industry of Centre County, the Association of University of Real Estate Officers, served on the Higher Education Facilities Management Association and on the Board of the Village at Penn State and on various other professional associations.

Funeral service for Craig A. Rickard will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd with Reverend Norman E. Huff officiating. Friends will be received at the church for one hour prior to the service.
