Clyde H. Weight, 85 of Tyrone, died peacefully on Friday January 28, 2022, at home. He was born in Tyrone on March 9,1936, the son of the late Clyde H. Weight and Leah June (Denny) Weight. He was married to Ann C. Bennett who preceded him in death on April 28, 2018. He is survived by four children: Bryan J Weight (Tammy Welch), William S. Weight (Charlene Lamoreaux),Greg A. Weight (Michelle Weight), and Lisa A. Buck (John Updike); Nine grandchildren: Bryan Weight, Alishia Weight, William S. Weight Jr., Sierra A. Weight, Scott M. Weight, Schulyer Buck, Willow Buck, Elizabeth Buck and Virginia Buck; Six great-grandchildren: Mila, Bailey, Noah, Jace, Audrianna and Carter, four siblings, Ronald Weight, Barry Weight, Joy Mcllwain, and Denis Weight. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Melissa A Weight.

Clyde was a 1955 graduate of Elderton High School. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving overseas in England. He worked at WestVaco papermill before starting his own business (Weight's Upholstery) in Tyrone. He was a member of the Reformed church of Huntingdon. He loved history, especially his family tree, and often talked about his childhood home in Cherry Run, Pa.
