Charles "Chauncy" W. Stem III, 66 of Tyrone, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. He was born in Bellefonte on September 2, 1959, a son of Charles W. Stem Jr. who survives and Linda (Clouser) Stem who preceded him in death. Along with his father, surviving are two children: Jessica (Lance) Foster and Chad (Alex Storch) Stem; six grandchildren: Hunter, Hannah, Gage, Barrett, Cade, and Henry; one great-grandson: Hudson; a brother: Mike (Gail) Stem; and his significant other: Yvonne "Vonnie" Haney. He was also preceded by sister: Kelly Watson.

Chauncy was a graduate of State College High School and attended CPI Technical Institute. He retired from his career as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, shooting and collecting guns, working on cars and trucks, and his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren.
