Charles C. Sims, 42 of Tyrone, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born in Altoona on June 30, 1979, the son of the late Robert C. Sims and Joyce (Bonsell) Cingel who survives. He is also survived by a fiancé: Raelyn Stark; three children: Jocelyn, Eric, and Miles Sims; one stepson: David VanAllman; and one brother: Clinton M. Sims.

Chuck was a 1998 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and was employed at Chemcut Corp in State College. He attended the Community Worship Center.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, 80's music, camping, hunting, and fishing. Chuck was also a DJ and spent lots of time watching his children at their many sporting events. He enjoyed spending time with his countless friends and was loved by all who knew him.

A 6 pm memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Community Worship Center in Tyrone with Pastor Keith Deal ofiiciating. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 pm until the 6 o'clock service.
