Charles Wilber Leeper Jr., 63 of Tyrone, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. He was born in Philipsburg on August 1, 1958, the son of the late Charles W. and Janet (Denny) Leeper Sr. On August 16, 1985, in Maryland, he married Betsy Barnes, who survives. Also surviving are two siblings: Donna Jean (Ralph) Stimer, and Patrick (Danette) Leeper Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a very hard worker and was employed with New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company. Chuck loved mud racing and competed for many years. He worked with the Make a Wish Foundation and was always ready to sign things for the kids and let them sit up in his racing truck. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, barbecues and spending time with family and friends.

A private memorial service for Charles Wilber Leeper Jr. will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, Make-A-Wish® America, 1702 East Highland Ave., Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
