Carol JoAnne Gensamer, 84, of Tyrone, passed away on March 7, 2025. Carol was born to the Late Paul R. and Bertha (Grazier) Bonsell in Tyrone, on February 26, 1941. On November 30, 1985 in Tonawanda, NY she married Timothy Gensamer, who survives, with almost 40 years together.

Surviving is her daughter, Penny Mullen (Ralph); sons, Will Jones (Lisa), Drew Gensamer; grandchildren, Cody, Cory, Carys, Sara, Abby, Ira, Ellis, Nevan, Alex, Maddie, Emma, and Nora; great grandchildren, Olivia, Isaac, Sophia, Ruby Day, Lleyn; and leaves behind her sweet little dog Laci.

She was preceded in death by her son Adam Gensamer; and her two sisters, Wanda Turiano and Jeanne Rutledge.

A viewing will be held on Saturday March 15, 2025 from 1-4pm at Richard H. Searer Funeral home. Service and burial will be held privately at a later date. Carol wished in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Blair County Central PA, Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona Pa 16601.
