Carl R. "Mouse" Lewis, 84 of Spruce Creek, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was born in Tyrone, a son of the late Claude C. Sr. and Edna May (Laird) Lewis. He is survived by his children: Rick (Fizz) Lewis and Cheri (Matt) Ray. Also surviving are grandchildren: Katie (Michael) Moskel, Amy (Dustin) Elder, Carly (Eli) Marshall, Evan Lewis, Ethan Lewis, and Madelyn Ray; and great-grandchildren: Mason, Ava, Ella, Kaylin, Rosalyn, Blair, Madison, and Ivan. He was preceded by his siblings: Ellen, Claudia, Martha, Dorthy, Jane, Claude "Tick" Jr., and Arleen. He was the last of his immediate family.

Mouse was a 1959 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. He worked at Westvaco Corp until retirement and was a member of various local clubs. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially the Easter egg hunt, and he liked being outdoors. He will be remembered for his quick wit as well as his enjoyment of his pipe and libations.

A 2 pm funeral service for Carl R. "Mouse" Lewis will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Chaplain Keith Natoli officiating. Friends will be received from Noon until the 2 pm service. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
