Brenda L. Sweitzer, 67, of Tyrone died Friday January 29, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born June 26, 1953 in Philipsburg, a daughter of Harold and Louise (Franchio) Sweitzer.

Surviving are two sisters; Kay Spacht and husband Walter of Water Street, Judy Haverstein and husband Bob of Tyrone and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and Butch.

She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone and was a 1971 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and attended Lock Haven University.

Brenda had worked at the family business East End Pizza for many years and also at the Grazierville playground.

She was very proud of winning the Spirit Girl award during her high school years and later being on the committee organizing her class reunions.

Brenda was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday February 8, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Fr. Jozef Kovacik, Celebrant.
