Beverly A. Sprankle, 83, of Tyrone died Saturday April 25, 2020 at her residence.

She was born May 14, 1936 in Tyrone, a daughter of Clarence and Tillie (Woodle) Walk. She was married to Clarence L. Sprankle who preceded her in death on July 1, 2005.

Surviving are four sons; Ricky L. of Tyrone, Randy W. and wife Brenda of Leechburg, Timothy C. of Vandergrift, Jeffrey E. of Bellwood, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister Gloria Owens of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Sue and two brothers; John and Robert Walk.

Mrs. Sprankle retired in 1999 from the wharehouse at PPG Industries, Tipton following 25 years service. She was previously employed at SKF, Altoona.

Beverly loved being with her family and cooking and decorating for the holidays. She enjoyed camping at Kettle Creek and trail riding on her horse Cherokee. She liked making and having crafts in her home. She was very active and always there for her children in their sports and activities.

Services will be private. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
