Bev J. Rutherford, 73, of Altoona formerly of Tyrone died Monday May 25, 2020 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born July 27, 1946 in Altoona, a daughter of Roy L. and Helen Louise (McCoy) Miles. She was married to Alvin T. Rutherford for 26 years. He died August 2, 2014.

Surviving are a daughter Tammy Lee Harpster of Altoona, a son Aaron T. Rutherford of Tyrone, three granddaughters; Kylie Nicole Rutherford and Emily Ruth and Ally Paige Harpster, a greatgrandson Noah Farlow, son-in-law Tom Harpster of Altoona, two brothers; Paul David "Butch" Miles of Northwood, James Edward Miles of Northwood, and 2 sisters; Margaret "Suzie" Harpster of Altoona and Sherry Lorraine of Northwood.

Bev was employed at Family and Children's Services, Altoona for 13 years working as a counselor in Domestic Abuse.

She was a 1964 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.

She dearly loved her grandchildren.
