Betty Scott Marx, 81, of Tennessee, passed away Thursday, March 17th, 2022. Betty was born on July 20, 1940, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late John B. and Ruth (Crowell) Scott. She is survived by her son Shawn Jones of San Diego, and her sisters Bonnie Owens and Peggy Swanks. She is preceded in death by her husband Rolf Marx, and her brother John C. Scott.

Betty graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur TX, and continued her education at Port Arthur Business School. She attended Centerville United Methodist Church in TN. She enjoyed traveling and was also an active member of the Centerville Gardening Club and Centerville Historical Society doing genealogy.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, March 25, 2022 at Birmingham Cemetery with Reverend Ron Baker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
