Barbara L. Gilmore, 81, of Tyrone died Saturday September 10, 2016 at Epworth Manor.

She was born April 25, 1935 in Bellwood, a daughter of J. Lynn and Pearl (Estep) Gilmore.

Barbara is survived by fifteen first cousins. Closest to her were Gretta Czap and Mary Ellen Jones both of Tyrone whom she spent holidays and special occasions with throughout her life. She was the last of her immediate family.

Barbara's adolescent years were spent in the Mt. Oliver section of Pittsburgh where she graduated from high school in 1953.

She loved to eat out. For many years she was a constant at the Tyrone Pizza Hut.

Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Home on Wednesday September 14, 2016 from 6 P.M. until the funeral service at 7 P.M. with Chaplain Joan Smith officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.
