Barbara A. Bailey, 87 of Tyrone died Monday, February 11, 2019. She was born on January 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Aden and Daisy Girard Fonner. On June 26, 1954 she married Robert A. Bailey who preceded her in death on January 6, 2018. Barbara is survived by 4 children: Larry (Darlene) Bailey, Susan (Steve) James, Alex (Annette) Bailey and Lisa (Chet) Swalina; 5 grandchildren: Christie Gates, Ashley Good, Lindsey Good, Morgan Campisino and Stephen Bailey; 5 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters: Thelma Holmberg, Marcella Madden, Grace (John) Soyster and Shirley Wilt. She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Pauline Brubaker.

Barbara worked in the printing department at Jostens where she did yearbook design. She also attended Faith Bible Church in Bellwood. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, shopping, travel, bingo and ceramics club. She was very into family get togethers, especially during the holidays, specifically Christmas time.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc as well as on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 10-11 AM. A funeral service for Barbara A.
