Arthur J. "Jimmy" Stiff, 89, of Hollidaysburg, Pa. died Tuesday October 20, 2015 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.

He was born September 13, 1926 in Stroudsburg, Pa. a son of Percy Theodore and Olive May (Heller) Stiff.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Carol Dodd and Imogene Michael.

Mr. Stiff was self employed in the cleaning business with his wife Mary in Oceanside, CA for 30 years. He later worked in construction in Las Vegas for several years.

He was a U.S Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as a sergeant. He also served in the occupation of Japan.

He was active and loyal member of the Oceanside Elks.

He enjoyed ballroom dancing, the beach and traveling in his motor home.

There will be no viewing or services. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
