Annabell J. Saylor, 79, of Tyrone, died Saturday December 12, 2014 at Tyrone Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1935 in Tyrone, a daughter of the late William and Nora (Waite) Cosentino. She married the late John E. Saylor September 25, 1954 in Tyrone. They were married more than fifty years until his passing on April 24, 2011.
Surviving are her daughter Terry Bishop and husband Richard of Tyrone; two grandchildren: Gretchen Black and husband David, Tyrone and Jonathan Bishop, Cleveland, OH; two great grandchildren: Ryder and Tripp Black. Also surviving are a brother Harry Cosentino of Joppa, MD and sister Delores Germino of Tyrone.
She is also survived by several dear sister and brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Joseph, James, Frank, William, and Raymond; and sisters Violet and Josephine.
Annabell was a 1953 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. She worked at Big Yank Aug. 6, 1957 until Dec. 16, 1993. She then worked at Tyrone Apparel from 1994 – 1997. She also worked at Delgrosso's Amusement Park after retirement as a ticket seller.
During her earlier years Annabell was an avid bowler and enjoyed travelling with family. She was a devoted sports fan keeping track of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, Penn State Wrestling and Tyrone Sports. Most of all, Annabell was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Time well spent to her was time with family.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00P.M., Thursday December 18, 2014, at Feller Memorial Home with Reverend Norman Huff Officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday December 17, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018 in memory of her husband.
