Andrew "Andy" Sean Turchetta, 54 of Tyrone, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. He was born in Tyrone, the son of John Turchetta and Peggy (Leasure) Adams who survive. Also surviving are sons: Sean and Liam Turchetta, and Levi Kephart whom he looked after like a son; a brother: Stephen (Marie) Turchetta; an uncle: Nick (Veronica) Leisure of Pottstown; an aunt: Connie (Jerry) Wood of York; and cousins: Nicholas, Michael, and Emilie Leasure, Kevin (Patty) Wood, and T. Irene and son Mitchell King.

Andy graduated from Tyrone Area High School before continuing his education and graduating from South Hills Business School. He worked as a corrections officer at Cresson SCI and most recently at Rite Aid in Martinsburg. He also attended Wesley United Methodist Church.

He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching football, basketball, baseball, and NASCAR. He was a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and the LA Lakers. In high school he played basketball and was on the swim team. He also was a member of the band and played bass. He enjoyed his cat Angel but what Andy loved most was spending time with his family, especially his children.

A noon funeral service for Andrew Sean Turchetta will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Reverend Jim House officiating. Friends will be received from 10 am until the time of the service. Interment will be made at Logan Valley Cemetery following the service. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
