Alzada M. "Ellie" Shawley, 70, of Bellwood died Thursday June 6, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born October 10, 1948 in Rush Twp., a daughter of Roland and Beryl (Lumadue) Hummel. On November 6, 1968 in Winchester, Virginia she married Baren Shawley Sr.

Surviving are her husband, 2 daughters; Michelle Foor and husband Kermit III of Bellwood, Gail Wolfe of Bellwood, a son Baren Jr. and wife Cristy of Tipton, 4 grandchildren; Brandon and Cassidy Shawley, Kermit IV and Hunter Foor, a sister, Christine Shaw of West Decatur and a brother Eldin Hummel of Morrisdale.

Mrs. Shawley was a cook for Epworth Manor, Tyrone for the past 15 years.

Ellie was people person and enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with family.

Memorial services will be held Sunday June 9, 2019 at 4 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Gary Jewart officiating.. Friends will be received from 3 P.M. until the time of services.
