Alice L. Brower, 86, of Tyrone died Saturday August 19, 2017 at her residence.

She was born November 2, 1930 in Tyrone, a daughter of Alvah C. and Laura (Adams) Goss. On June 23, 1947 at the Church of the Brethren, Tyrone she married Clyde M. "Hank" Brower. He died May 17, 2007.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Alice Diehl and husband Robert, Cynthia Brower all of Tyrone , 3 sons, Alvah and wife Ann, Calvin and Thomas all of Tyrone, 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, a sister Shirley McMonagle and husband Duey of Port Matilda, 2 brothers Joseph Goss and wife Veryl of Wycliffe, Kentucky, Theodore "Dorie" Goss and wife Patricia of Juniata and 2 step-brothers Marvin and Rudy Dillon of Rochester, New York. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters Matilda Reeder, Marybelle Watters and Myrtle Leech a grandson Matthew Miller and a daughter-in-law Vicki Brower.

She was a member of Tyrone Alliance Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, singing, yard sales, crocheting and her church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 23, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Tyrone Alliance Church with Rev. Carl Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of services.
