Alexandra Elizabeth (Patterson) Stevens, 81 of Tyrone and formerly of Scotland, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at UPMC Altoona. Alexandra was born on July 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Henry and Jacobina (Gibb) Patterson. Alexandra was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Stevens Jr. on March 24, 2019, with whom she exchanged pen-pal letters before he traveled to Scotland to meet her after his time in the military. She came back to the states to Bradford, PA where the couple was married. Also surviving is a son: Timothy Stevens; and 3 granddaughters: Lacy, Alexis and Tayler Stevens. George was preceded in death by a son: Scott Stevens; and a granddaughter: Caitlin Stevens.

Sandra was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she attended with her husband, both were devout Christians who held fast to their faith in Christ. She was also a volunteer with the churches luncheon committee, often helping to prepare and provide food for many different occasions. She was a member of the Tyrone Women's Club and the Tyrone Sorority.

Arrangements for services for Alexandra Elizabeth Patterson Stevens will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family and are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
