Alber t{Abby} Irvin Harris 71, of Tyrone, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024,

in the trauma unit of the Altoona hospital. He was born July 29,1953,

in Tyrone, the son of the late Albert and Alpha {Fink} Harris . He was

the 9th of 11 children.

He is survived by his wife, Della {Shirk}, his children, Albert, Wendy {Miller} and Kristen

McNeal of Tyrone, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren , and

19 nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are sisters Geraldine Anderson, Gail Supenia, Sue

Kester of Tyrone, Hazel Lawruk {Jerry} of Ohio, brothers Vern Harris

{Sally} of Port Matilda and Tom Harris{Dianna} of Tyrone. He was

preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Fogle, brothers John,

Charles {Charlie} Lawrence{Larry} and one great grandchild.

His beloved nephew, Matthew Shirk , was his fishing

and hunting buddy. Abby loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker. His

love for wildlife and his pets brought much joy to his life. He retired from Woodcraft in 1999 on disability and had worked for Reese's sawmill and center hardware for 26 years. He was a 1972 Tyrone graduate and was active in the school's football and wrestling

programs.

Arrangements are under the care of Feller memorial Home. There will be no public services.
