Alana Jo Barry, 8 of South Fork, PA, was called home on July 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Altoona on July 14, 2014. She is survived by her father: Mark Boring; her moms: Amber Potts and Dena Barry; brothers: Devon Datres and Richard Snyder; sister Emma Jo; grandparents: Wendy and Barry Boring, Karen and Jim Barry, Kori and Jim Potts, and Gloria Huges; godmother: Rebecca Boring; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alana was a third grader at Cambria Heights Elementary School and was baptized at Salix United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed music, bright lights and laughter. Her favorite song was "Lean on Me" and like when her grandma would sing her "The Old Lady Who Swallowed the Fly". She loved her nurses and pretending to fall asleep when she didn't want to do therapy.

A 4 pm celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Feller Memorial Home, 817 W 15th St. Tyrone, PA, with Reverend Ron Baker officiating.
