Obituary for Victoria G. "Vickie" Albright (McMillen, Trotter)

Victoria G."Vickie" (McMillen, Trotter) Albright, of Tyrone passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Millbrook, OH on November 28, 1932, the daughter of the late Elmer and Nora (Bentz) Weuthrick. She was first married to Les McMillen who preceded her in death in 1994 and later to Robert Trotter who also preceded her. On August 28, 2003 Vickie married the love of her life, Daune D. Albright who preceded her on October 1, 2019. She is survived by three children: Brenda Vaught, Debbie (Bill) Hoffman, and Tim (Bonnie) McMillen; a step-son: Danny (Robin) Albright; five grandchildren: Traci (Josh) Krider, Tobias (Rhonda) Nagle, Christy (Jim) Gerwert, Matthew (Jalana) McMillen, and Adam (Jenna) McMillen; Nine great-grandchildren: Sage Krider, Kyle Schultz Krider, Madison Newstead Krider, Emily and Christian Nagle, Alexis, Samantha and Sidney Gerwert, and Mac McMillen; and two sisters: June Fitch and Beverly Weuthrick. She's also survived by special nieces: Tina and Robin, nephew: Eugene and extra-loving friends: Irene, Marilyn and Jean. She was preceded in death by two siblings: Violet Caber and Warren Weuthrick.
As a teenager, she regularly sang Gospel Music at WWST Radio with her sister Violet. They were called "The Singing Weuthricks". After finishing beauty school she owned and operated Victoria’s Beauty Salon for 23 years. Vickie also owned and operated a construction and excavating business. She returned to school to get her CNA license and served for over ten years at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home before retiring in 1987.
Vickie loved the Lord and attended Grace Baptist Church until illness kept her away. She enjoyed bowling, had a green thumb and was passionate about gardening and her flowers. She was an avid animal lover and all of God's amazing creations. She enjoyed friends and conversation and truly loved life. She could talk to anyone and help to brighten their day. Her favorite saying was, “The Lord gave me an abundance of smiles and I’d like to share one with you”. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
An 11 am funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Feller Memorial Home with Dave Grazier officiating. Friends will be received on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Feller Memorial Home from 5-7 pm and again on Saturday from 10 until the 11 am service. Contributions in Vickie’s memory may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society at 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602 in honor of her lifetime love of pets, especially her loving sidekick, Sadie Marie.
Arrangements are under the care of Feller Memorial Home, 817 W 15th St, Tyrone, Pa.
