Obituary for Theresa K. Grazier
Theresa K. Grazier, 88, a guest at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, died Thursday.
She was born in Tyrone, daughter of Ciriacco and Christina (Guida) DiMemmo. On June 12, 1948, she married to the love of her life, Harold Grazier in Winchester, Va., and after 62 years of marriage, he preceded her in death May 1, 2011.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law: Betty Kasper and Ruth Grazier; many special nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; and her caregivers: Kathy (Paul) Vincent, James (Luanne) DiMemmo, Dave (Jan) Grazier and Frank DiMemmo, her great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Ralph, Albert, Frank and Nicholas; six sisters: Helen, Mary, Sister Mary Carmina, Rose, Carrie and Marguerite; and two infant sisters: Carmella and Caroline. She was the last of her immediate family.
Theresa was a 1946 graduate of Tyrone High School, and went on to work for many years as a clerk and cashier at various local businesses. She was also a homemaker and loved to garden and cook. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and had a special love for music. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and was very thankful for her nurses, caregivers, her Epworth Manor family and the special friends who brought joy to her each day over the past several years.
Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, Dave Grazier, her nephew, officiating. A private interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
