Obituary for Robert A Bratton Sr.
Robert A. Bratton Sr., 74 of Tyrone, passed away at home with his wife Donna on Sunday, March 31, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Robert was born on June 17, 1944 in Tyrone. Robert is survived by his wife of 19 years: Donna (Carper) Bratton; 1 son: Robert Bratton Jr; 1 daughter: Nicole Ann Bratton; and one stepson: John (Shelly) Carper of Tyrone. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Bernadine Bratton.
Robert attended Tyrone High School and went to work for Chicago Rivet and Machine Company as a machinist before his retirement. He was a member of the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company, the Howard Gardner American Legion Post #281 and the VFW Anderson-Denny Post #4559. He liked hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time with his wife and caring for his dogs.
Upon Robert’s request there will be no services.
