Marjorie M. Knarr, 89 of Tyrone died Monday, December 21, 2020 at her daughters’ home in Manheim. She was born in Tyrone on June 1, 1931 the daughter of the late Chester and Iva (Gramley) Summers. On November 2, 1957 at the Columbia Avenue Methodist Church, she married Joseph C. Knarr who preceded her in death on October 26, 1996. She is survived by one daughter: Dawn (Mike) Fleck of Manheim; one son: Joe A. (Deb) Knarr of Tyrone; five grandchildren: Amanda Fleck of Lancaster, Valerie Fleck of Wrightsville, Ashley Fleck of Elizabethtown and Curtis & Brent Knarr of Tyrone; four great-grandchildren: Andrew & Eleanor Meckley of Lancaster and Benjamin & Kye Knarr of Tyrone; and one sister: Mae Summers Romano of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Alice Summers Kirk and Jane Summers Benn both of Tyrone; and one brother: Charles Summers of Lewistown.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Blair Memorial Park.
