Obituary for Jackie E. Dunkel (Turnbaugh)
Jackie E. Dunkel of Tyrone died Sunday February 24, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born October 22, 1952 in Tyrone, a daughter of Robert Jack and Elizabeth (Waple) Turnbaugh.
Surviving are four daughters; Debra Soellner and husband Gus, Sherrie Simondale and husband Donald, Kelly Gummo and husband Ronnie, and Penny Carroll and husband Steven Jr. all of Tyrone, eight grandchildren, three sisters; Sally Clark, Sue Spiridigliozzi and Kay Moskel and two brothers Clint and Mike Turnbaugh.
Mrs. Dunkel had served as a manager at Dollar Tree, Sheetz and Burger King all of Tyrone.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, puzzles and reading. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Home on Wednesday February 27, 2019 from 4 P.M. until the funeral services at 7 P.M., Rev. Ken Beichler officiating. Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
