Harry R. Bonsell , age 62, of Tipton died Friday, November 13, 2015 at UPMC Altoona. He was born September 3, 1953 in Altoona, the son of George and Bella Phillips Bonsell. On March 4, 1993 at Cumberland, MD he was married to Mary Boring who survives. Also surviving is his mother and three children, Harry (Brandi) Bonsell, Tipton, Rob (Nicole) Bonsell, Tyrone and Gretchen Bonsell, Tyrone, step-children Tammy (Russell) Miller, Tyrone and Michael (Michelle) Moats, Montana. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Rachael Bonsell, Jeiger Shuta, Devlyn Bonsell, Lukis Bonsell and Cini Bonsell and five step-grandchildren – Joshua and Jeremy Miller and Melissa, Johnathan and Mikayla Moats, four sisters – Ruth (Fred) Estright, Donna Carlucci, Connie Sessamen and Joyce (Ray) Cingle. He was preceded in death by his father and brother George Jr.
Mr. Bonsell was a graduate of Tyrone High School Class of 1971 and was a veteran of service in the US Navy. He retired six years ago from Commercial Envelope after sixteen years service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and family football.
Funeral service for Harry R. Bonsell will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 2 PM at the Richard
H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Carl Schmidt officiating. Friends will be received from 12 noon until the hour of service. Burial will be at Blair Memorial Park with the Tyrone Honor Guard service.
