Erik Robert Fuoss, 44, of Tyrone, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born in Altoona, the son of Robert Fuoss and Susan Thompson on December 13, 1977. He is survived by his father, Robert Fuoss (fiancee Carol) of Tipton; his mother, Susan Thompson of Hollidaysburg; his sister, Bethany Miller of Altoona; and his brother, Todd (Ashley) Fuoss of Warriors Mark. He is also survived by his uncles, Gregg (Lisa) Fuoss of Tyrone; Doug Thompson of Salt Lake City, UT; Ken (Kathy) Thompson of Woodbine, NJ; and Rick (Laurie) Thompson of Greeneville, TN, as well as one nephew, three nieces, and six cousins, and a close friend, Eric. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Marie Fuoss, and maternal grandparents, Ted and Jean Thompson.
Erik was a 1996 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School and attended University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University. Erik truly enjoyed spending time outdoors and could be found hiking, fishing, hunting, or gardening any day of the week. He had the patience to tie flies for fishing from an early age. He enjoyed family fishing trips to Canada and making memories with loved ones. Erik had a compassionate heart for animals and his sense of humor allowed him to enjoy comics, his favorites being Calvin and Hobbs and The Simpsons.
Erik will be deeply missed by those who loved him, and he will live on in all of our hearts forever.
