Obituary for Eddie N. Coltabaugh

The halls of Tyrone Elementary will never be the same. Eddie Coltabaugh, 9, passed away in the arms of his Mama and Aea (Daddy) on May 11, 2022. Eddie was born to John and Kate (Bickle) Coltabaugh on April 13, 2013, in Danville and every night since his Mama told him as he fell asleep, “You are awesome, you are so smart, you are kind, you are so so handsome, you are funny, you are such a good friend."

Eddie leaves behind his parents; his Mimi, Mary Jane Bickle; Uncle David and Aunt Laura, Morgan, Nathan, Gracie and Maeve Bickle; paternal grandmother, Shirley Coltabaugh; Uncles Jeff and Terry Coltabaugh; Aunt Jen Miner and Aunt Grammie and Uncle Pap Keefer; "Cousunc" Chris, “Camden’s mom”, Camden and Tenley Keefer; and Papa Chris Elder.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eddie Bickle; paternal grandfather, William Coltabaugh; and his cousin Jack W. Bickle.

Eddie was a member of First English Lutheran Church, and was in 3rd grade at TAES. He enjoyed playing baseball for Miracle League, swimming, dogs, and Disney. Eddie was a friend to all and loved playing Wii.

Family and friends will be received for a Celebration of Life at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 3-7pm. On Monday, May 16th at First English Lutheran Church there will be a visitation from 10-11a.m., with a memorial service to follow. Family asks if you own any Eddie's Angels apparel to please wear them, or wear his favorite color, Orange.
