Obituary for Donna Kay Groseclose

Donna Kay Groseclose, 73 of Warriors Mark, formerly of Hanover and Severn, MD died Monday, July 8, 2019. Donna was born April 10, 1946 in Everett, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Louise S. (Beegle) Mountain. On May 7, 1967 at the Brethren Church in Everett she married Larry Lee Groseclose who survives. Also surviving are two sons: Joel Wade (Bethany Jeanne) Groseclose of Lebanon and children Zoë, Erin, Joel II, Kaylee and one grandson, Lucas on the way; John Albert (Tisha Aysel) Groseclose of Tampa, FL and children Gabrielle, Marina, Daniel and Loralai; one daughter: Elizabeth Kay (Ronald Calvin) Detwiler of Tyrone and children Brooke, MacKenzie, Amelia, Brielle and Zachary; and one brother: James (Sara) Mountain of Coatsville.
Donna was a 1964 graduate of Everett High School. She was also a member of the Tyrone Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Groseclose worked in accounting for many years holding jobs with the US Army, the FDA and the NSA from which she retired in 2000.
She was well known for her class and her interior decorating and design. She enjoyed cooking and baking as well as sewing, reading, doing puzzles and bird watching. She loved to travel, see the sights and people watch but more than anything, she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
Friends will be received on Thursday July 11, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. and on Friday July 12, 2019 from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at the funeral home with Kevin Mountain officiating and interment to follow.
