Beverly Ann Stimer-Walker, 82, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 23, 1941 in Port Matilda to the late Edwin and Loretta (Coon) Stimer. On August 16, 1986 in Cumberland, Md she married Mark Jason Walker, who preceded her in death in 2009.
She is survived by children, Tina (Brad) Pritts, Penny (Robert Rhoades) Chamberlin, Ronald (Cindy) Confer, Tim Confer, and John Confer; Grandchildren, Travis, Maddy, Derek, Dustin, Lenee, Brandie, Braden, Danielle, Steven, Cheyenne, Robert III, Tiffany, Amber, Marcus and Taryn; Sisters, Jeannie (Lester) Waite, and Linda (Jess) Tressler; brother, Jerry (Jenny) Stimer; 33 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Thomas; siblings Caroline Callahan, and Ed Stimer; and grandchildren, Peggy Lutz, and Levi Confer.
Beverly had a passion for genealogy, she would take her kids to the library and even go graveyard hunting to track down her ancestry. She loved watching birds eating out of the bird feeders she had, and loved whenever she would get a visit from a hummingbird. She had many windchimes and would collect them on her porch. Beverly made it a tradition to take her grandchildren out on their birthdays to Gardners for ice cream, then go to the train tracks to watch for the chance of seeing a train go by.
Friends and family are invited to come for a celebration of life at 12:00pm on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Fowler Grove Community Center, 11246 S. Eagle Valley Rd, Port Matilda, PA 16870
