Obituary for Antonina (Nina) Cannistraci Biddle

Antonina (Nina) Cannistraci Biddle went to be with our Lord November 6th, 2020 at Chambersburg hospital with her daughters by her side at the age of 89.
Born July 3rd, 1931 in Tyrone, Blair County, she was the daughter of Salvatore and Rosalia Crisafulli Cannistraci.
Nina is survived by her brothers Carmello Cannistraci and Joseph Cannistraci, her sister Mary Jane Cornelius, her daughters Patricia (Michael) Walsh and Linda Jo Clark, her granddaughter Miranda (Joshua) Adams, her grandsons Gavin Clark, Zach Kensinger and Dale Kensinger, and her great granddaughter Lillia Adams.
She was preceded in death by her father Salvatore, mother Rosalia, brother Angelo, sister Rose Cowher, and Brother Anthony Gene.
Nina was a life-long member of St. Matthews Parish in Tyrone. She retired from Big Yank after 40 plus years then went on to be a local seamstress.
Nina’s favorite pastimes were baking and sewing. Through her cookies and homemade goods she showed her love and touched the lives of many. Some of the things she would bake and sew she would enter into the Huntington County fair where she went on to win many awards. She would then go on to donate them to St. Matthews church to be raffled off to raise money for the school.
Many were blessed by her love and friendship. She will be deeply missed.
A mass is being held at 11 O’clock Wednesday November 11th, 2020 at St. Matthew’s Church.
Flowers may be sent to St. Matthews Church 1105 Cameron Ave or in lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Matthews School.
